Communications and Client Relations Manager

Rhonda Stevenson serves as the Communications and Client Relations Manager at Norwood Associates, LLC, bringing more than three decades of experience in California public policy, communications, and association management. With extensive knowledge gained from working inside the State Capitol and in the association community, she plays a key role in keeping clients informed about legislative and regulatory developments that impact their businesses. At Norwood Associates, LLC, she prepares legislative and political communications for clients and background materials that support the firm’s lobbying team, helping ensure our client’s viewpoints are well represented in an evolving policy environment.

Ms. Stevenson spent over 30 years with the California Beer and Beverage Distributors, serving as Senior Director of Marketing and Public Affairs. In that role, she monitored political and legislative developments, drafted persuasive position letters on legislation, and prepared communication materials to support advocacy efforts at the Capitol. Her deep understanding of the legislative process and ability to identify emerging policy issues helped advance the organization’s priorities and strengthen its presence in Sacramento.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Stevenson worked as a Legislative Assistant to former California State Assemblymember Bev Hansen (R–Santa Rosa/Napa), where she handled a diverse portfolio of policy issues including transportation, agriculture, recycling, childcare, and public safety.

Ms. Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism, with a minor in Political Science, from Eastern Washington University. She currently serves as the President of the Eastern Washington University Alumni Association Board of Directors. She is also a Director and Treasurer on the Keep California Beautiful Board.
